Daffodil - a bright yellow flower with a long trumpet shaped-centre symbolizes rebirth, new beginnings and the coming of spring. It is said that if a person spots the first Daffodil of the season than his next 12 months will be filled with wealth. Similarly a Chinese legend says that if a Daffodil bulb is forced to bloom during he new year, it will bring good luck to your home.




Daffodils are also called as 'narcissus' .It gains its name from the Greek god narcissus. According to legend, Narcissus was so enamoured with his own reflection in the river that he drowned trying to capture his reflection. The Daffodils growing along stream banks soon became associated with Narcissus and took on his name , probably due to the beauty of their reflected image in the water.so let us have a look on the Daffodil flower that blooms in my garden......

Materials Required

1}Duplex paper- Green, Yellow or White

2}Green tape

3}Wire

4}Fevicol

Tube: To make the tube of the flower cut the duplex paper according to the shape given below. Make two cuts of the given shape, and paste them together.

Petals: To make the petals cut the duplex paper in the shape given below .Give 10 cuts for the petals. Place the wire between the 5 petals and paste the remaining 5 on each of them.

Leaf: Cut the Green duplex paper according to the shape given below to make a leaf.

Pollens: Put yellow or any suitable pollens for the same

Centre: Take a 3 inch long wire and tie the tube around it with a thread. Give tiny curls to the tube. Place the other petals around the tube and put the Green tape for the stem.

Hey guys !!! welcome to my garden. This garden has ennumber of flowers which will amaze you with their beauty. The flowers which bloom throughout .Many of you'll may have a doubt in your mind as to why I am writing my blog on such a topic .Let me clear all your doubts...This blog will help you'll in a number of ways.

Firstly, most of you'll are going to be "future teachers"  you'll can teach your students this activity of flower making and bring out the creativity in them. Secondly a house can be made more decorative by using these flowers.so also they can be used for any of the functions such as wedding, party's and   other functions.Also making this flowers and selling them will be profitable. 

Material  Required

1. Duplex paper:- Green , Yellow or any colour
2. White or green  tape
3. Stam wire
4. Fevicol

1) Tonque  or tube: To make the tube give 2 cuts of the given shape and paste them together on both the sides.



2)Petals: In order to make the petals cut 10 parts of the  shape given below . Place a wire in the centre of 5 petals and paste the other 5 petals on each of them.

3)Leaf: To make the leaf cut the duplex paper as per the shape given below and stick the wire to it.



4)Stem: Take a wire and wrap the half part of it with a green tape . stick pollens to it as per requirement. Stick the tube to the stem. Place the 5 lives on the stem one by one and wrap them with the green tape . Place the leaf at the middle of the stem and wrap it with the green tape.
